En 1885, con Albert Keen al frente, se convirtió en un lugar “in”, donde recalaban, sobre todo, los actores de los cercanos teatros. Siempre es un placer encontrar este tipo de sitios auténticos, el único superviviente del Herald Theatre District. Es famoso por sus carnes y su mítica chuleta de cordero, también por su colección de whisky puro malta y porque posee la colección de pipas más grande del mundo. Tomamos un Prime Porterhouse para dos, sentados en la barra del bar. Solo con mirar la foto de nuevo se me hace la boca agua. Fue un momento especial: ¡un cumpleaños es un cumpleaños!

It is famous for its steaks and its legendary mutton chop, also for its Single Malt whisky collection and because it owns the largest collection of churchwarden pipes in the world. We had a Prime Porterhouse for two, at the bar of the pub. Just watching the pic again makes my mouth waters. A special moment: a birthday is a birthday!
